Goodnight Irene. Over a day without power due to storm damage. Got through the night, controlled the flooding, got settled, a little rest, then the power went out. Was an interesting time, not one I’d care to repeat.

To all who had to deal with anything storm related, my sympathies and congratulations. To all who had worse than me, and to be honest that is almost everyone affected, my prayers.

I love the Internet. Sitting, just bored, and I come across this

Motorist in a traffic jam in England. Bored, so he gets out of his car, and starts interviewing people. Just anyone, but those who are sitting in the lane reserved for emergency vehicles.

What no one seems to be picking up, is that it is very hard to be handed an economy at a massive low, and keep it there. By default, its almost impossible to have things get worse, and he’s managed it.

He deserves a break. Fucking up this badly is hard!

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Snaps, two thumbs up, props, whatever your terminology. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is one of those places you hope to never see, but Thank you God, for everyone there.

Last week I dealt with some of the most caring, kind and professional people I have ever met. At midnight, they were polite and smiling, dealing calmly with me when I got lost in the hospital, just trying to find my daughter and newborn grandson. They gave us courtesy and hope when we needed it.

Monday and a return to the world.

Welcome to Monday morning. Tired of drama, tired of garbage, tired of inconsiderate people that refuse to think beyond the end of their own noses.
